Carl Pongs is the owner of Greenbelt Growers Nursery and serves as a Director on the RCRCD board. He plays an active role in the Southern California nursery industry by growing water efficient and native plants for landscaping and restoration projects. Carl is also a leader in the California Association of Nurseryman. He understands the important role that the collection of native plants and seeds play in the local restoration projects. His understanding and knowledge of the nursery industry, water efficient plants and native plants, adds greatly to the efforts of the RCRCD and its board.
