The Riverside-Corona Resource Conservation District (RCRCD) is seeking to retain a contractor for arundo removal and mulching at our Altfillisch South Invasive Removal & Processing Project. The site, Altfillisch South, is located in the Santa Ana River mainstem west of Hamner Rd.

The Notice to Bid and bid documents can be found at the link below. Interested bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid walk held on Tuesday, September 29th, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. Meet at the the open space adjacent to the Santa Ana River that can be reached via the access road behind a bollard post off Shadow Canyon Circle in Norco, California. The open space access point is located adjacent to 2757 Shadow Canyon Circle, Norco , CA 92860.

Requirements from the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR)
In 2014, the California legislature enacted several laws impacting public works contracting. Senate Bill 854 (SB 854) creates changes in the way the DIR monitors prevailing wage requirements. All contractors and subcontractors must register with the DIR and meet DIR requirements before bidding on public works contracts in California. No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project unless registered with the DIR. Application and renewal are completed online with an annual, non-refundable fee of $400. Read the SB 854 Fact Sheet for a complete list of requirements. No postings at this time.
