Richard Vandenberg

Rich Vandenberg is a community leader, public servant, and longtime Riverside resident with a passion for responsible land use, environmental stewardship, and smart growth. He currently serves on the Riverside-Corona Resource Conservation District (RCRCD) Board, where he brings a balanced, community-focused perspective to conservation efforts across the region.
Professionally, Rich is a loan originator who has helped hundreds of local families achieve homeownership. His understanding of housing, land use, and financial planning brings valuable insight to the District’s mission of preserving natural resources while supporting thoughtful development.
In addition to his service on the RCRCD Board, Rich is an appointed member of Riverside’s Budget Engagement Commission and a graduate of Leadership Riverside, where he worked on initiatives tied to health, safety, and emergency services.
